Residents Make Their Own Ice Cream

On July 25th, our residents celebrated National Hot Fudge Sundae Day by making their own ice cream. Each person had a Ziploc bag with the liquid ingredients and had to put it in another bag with ice and salt. That’s when the fun began! They had to shake and knead the bag until the milk mixture froze and made ice cream. Some put chocolate topping on it, but most ate it without anything extra, because it was so good. Everyone agreed that their handmade homemade ice cream was delicious and fun to make!

The best part is no one even realized that this was exercise! A double win.
